The "Fran London" sewing center project was first established in 2016 and built thanks to the supported of the Canada Fund. 7 ladies were selected, trained and later employed as seamstresses. Previously, these women scavenged the Ulaanchuluut landfill for their survival.
Your purchase helps women in Mongolia stay employed and NOT scavenging in the trash! These women design and make bows, traditional clothing, quilts, Mongolian silk purses and ECO shopping bags.
If you want to support these wonderful ladies go to our shop where we sell all of their HANDMADE goods!
All of the profits from the sales of these bows go to help these women directly and beyond that to help fund the Children of the Peak Sanctuary Project which provides food, care and education for 150 3-5 year olds, 300 6 -16 year olds and many others in the garbage dump community .
