Our projects involve a number of initiatives which work in concert to improve the lives of the children and families who subsist by scavenging at the Ulaanchuuluut Garbage dump in Mongolia and other impoverished people in the area. We aim to create a sustainable development solution to this problem and our initiatives are designed to complement one another for maximum integrated success.
Project Structure
Our Mongolian development initiatives fall under the auspices of the Children of the Peak Sanctuary Project which is comprised of 12 programs working towards our four goals of sustainable educational, vocational and infrastructure development along with relief efforts to address immediate, serious need in the Songin Khairhan and surrounding districts where many of the community members survive simply on what they can scavenge from the garbage dump to eat, burn or sell.
Full implementation of the Project is dependent upon securing ongoing funding of $15,000 USD/ mo.
100% of donated funds* stay in Mongolia and are used to support Veloo Foundation projects for Mongolian
children and families in need. (*except banking fees)
