WHAT IS THE WINTER WARMTH JACKET DRIVE?

It's a DUAL-PURPOSE MISSION to provide warm and versatile winter jackets, based upon the traditional Mongolian deel (long coat), including a detachable hood, face guard, and pockets for warmth! We aim to provide jackets for 300+ Mongolian children in need, simultaneously delivering employment and work experience for disadvantaged women from the Fran London Sewing Center and their Tushkhan Brand.
This initiative is to help hundreds of children and families with little or no income. These families often cannot buy warm clothes, blankets, food, or fuel to warm their ger (traditional felt tent where they live) as the nights can reach minimum temperatures of -30 Celsius.
Last couple of years we were able to make and provide over 830 deel jackets to the Ulaanchuluut community as well as to the Tsaatan people up in the north. With your support, you will be giving a child in need of a warm jacket.
