From New Zealand To The Steppes of Mongolia

I have always had an adventurous spirit but little was I to know when as an adult returning to riding 4 years ago and I bought my crazy ginger thoroughbred (Romy), I would end up applying and more surprisingly, being accepted for the Gobi Gallop - a 700 km endurance charity ride over 10 days across Mongolian mountains, rivers, steppes and desert. All that’s left is to get fit enough to last the distance-look out Romy and any other horse that comes under my radar!

However not only will I be experiencing this awesome adventure it is all for an incredibly worthwhile cause – the children from families who survive by scavenging at the Ulaanchuuluut Garbage dump in Mongolia. 100% of your donation will go to the Children of the Peak Sanctuary Kindergarten where their children will begin their first steps to a better quality of life, a life that will now be filled with opportunity. What a privilege it is to be given the chance to make a difference.
