You will be in good hands from the second you arrive from the plane to the time we drop you back to the airport. Zulaa, an experience host from Horse Trek Mongolia is thrilled to be expanding his tour hosting repertoire to work with Tom to include yet ANOTHER great adventure that will help Mongolian children. Our whole reason for creating this trip, in fact, was to help the children yes but also to show the Mongolia we love and enjoy so much. As Tom says..."Having really only been here 3 years, it is not a national pride that makes me love this place it is this place and its people that make me love it, yes I know you will be tired you will be sore and you will very likely never think you could ever love Mongolia, but by the time you reach your first transfer hub airport you will feel differently; and yes almost everyday we say "Wow Mongolia!" |

Plumma & Julie MillerThe Veloo Foundation set about “making a difference…one child at a time”. In our time living there we can testify to their noble work and it’s efficacy and have been very pleased to see their goals grow and to be fulfilled in the subsequent years.
We have supported the Veloo Foundation since their inception, so when we heard that they were going to run a Steel Horse Gallop as a fund-raiser in 2024, we jumped at the opportunity. We see this as a great way to continue our association with the Veloos’ and their tireless work, both of which are very close to our heart. |
Andrew & Manda ForsterThis adventure is a further opportunity of us to give back and ensure the Veloo Foundation can carry on making a difference plus gives us a opportunity to explore the Mongolian landscape with likeminded people.
Thank your for your support! Andrew and Manda |
Jim CairnesWhen I read about what the Veloo Foundation and Children of the Peak Sanctuary is doing and has accomplished helping so many children, drastically changing their lives for the better, I was onboard and ready to help raise money for this incredible cause.
Please join me on this great journey and support us next June, both us on steel horses and those riding on horse back like has been done for centuries. |
Kim MarksTo celebrate my 70th year of spinning around the sun I have decided to participate in the longest charity ride on the planet; The Gobi Steel Horse Gallop. Next Spring I will be riding over 1000 km thru Mongolia on a Royal Enfield Himalayan Motorcycle to raise funds for the Veloo Foundation, a 501(c) 3 not for profit charity. The Veloo Foundation is building kindergartens, summer camps and a community library for children in the Ulaanchuluut Landfill Community.
If you’d like to donate to this amazing charity and support this community, please view the fundraising page. 100% of your donation (minus bank fees) goes to helping the children and community. I’m very excited and honored to be included in this adventure and to be able to participate in helping this foundation improve the lives of some of the most economically disadvantage children and families on the planet. |
Scott IngramI have always found travelling on motorcycles to be the best way to experience and, immerse in the culture with all countries I have visited. It gives you time to stop, time to communicate and learn from the people that are the stewards of the land I am travelling through. With your support, we will also help my wife Boko achieve a small part of her dream. Making a difference one child at a time.
I am looking forward to riding the Steppes of Mongolia for a great cause but most of all, I know how proud my wife will be to help the people of her land achieve their dreams as well. |
