In May, 2022 Noémie will set off on an expedition of unparalleled distance and importance. She will be riding 3,600 kilometers across the breadth and width of Mongolia and all of it to help disadvantaged Mongolian children who are being helped by Veloo Foundation's Children of the Peak Sanctuary Project. Mongolian Adventure!
How could I combine my passion for horses and my desire to help the community? As soon as i heard about the Blue Wolf Totem Ride, i knew i had to be part of it. After spending the last 3 summers traveling in Canada to guide horseback riding trails, being 84 days on horseback in Mongolia was the next challenge I needed. I'm already part of charity groups, here in Quebec, and the Veloo Foundation cause is what convinced me to jump and apply for the ride !
I am really happy and proud to be one of the 15 lucky riders chosen for this expedition. More than what this trek represents, I hope to inspire girls and women in my community and around to believe in themself and do what they really want to. No matter where you come from, no matter how much money you have, you can accomplish big things. No matter who you are, you can make a difference in the world.
