 Project Details

Veloo Foundation is happy to announce that we have entered a partnership with Songino Khairhan District and Tselmeg Tsaidam Construction to build a 2nd kindergarten on the opposite side of Ulaan Chuuluut Garbage dump to help serve the impoverished children from that area. The new kindergarten will, on completion, serve up to 125 children and their families and provide employment for up to 18 members of the dump community. It will also provide improved access to health and hygiene for the children and families as we will have an on site doctor and running water and flush toilets. The constructions for the 2nd kindergarten will start on April 1st 2018, and open its doors to the children on September 1st 2018!

** Please note that if fundraising deadlines are not met, a smaller version of the school will be built in 2018 with additional capacity added as funds are raised.**


What's this going to cost?

The full building will consist of a 5 classroom, 6000 sq. feet, 2 story kindergarten building for up to 125 children and will include a multipurpose room, medical room, full kitchen and dining area, library, landscaping and a playground.

The cost for everything, including kitchen appliances, fencing & landscaping, full construction, well & septic system, boiler, playground and ALL the furnishings, lockers, books, toys, teaching supplies and aids, thanks to the generous support of Tselmeg Tsaidam construction is only :

$224,000 USD

With all operating expenses paid for by the District Government and Veloo Foundation’s Narnii Huuhduud Project (Children of the Peak Sanctuary) running the kindergarten, this promises to be a model of sustainable development, Community and Self Governance Building and change for thousands of children and families in the coming years. Your help will truly make a difference.

                                                   100% of all donations go directly to the project.

For a gift of only $1000.00 your name will appear on  one of the horses thundering toward a better tomorrow on our spectacular Mongolian Themed Donor wall.

In addition to knowing that you are helping make an enormous difference in the lives of some of the most disenfranchised children on the planet, please know that your gift of as little as $1,000 will get your name and donor level inscribed on a horse or ger on our donor wall that will look something like the artist's concept below.

Please note, the size and position of the horse will depend on the level of sponsorship. This truly spectacular Mongolian themed feature wall which will be the first thing that the children, visitors and guests will see upon arrival. It is our small way of saying "Thank You" for helping us make a difference, one child at a time.
