Making a Difference One Child at a Time
I was so happy to find out that I had made it into this year's ride. I was looking for another travel opportunity that would allow me to do some good as well. The Gobi Gallop seemed to be the perfect opportunity. Children are so important to their communities as they are the future of our world. That being said we need to give them the best opportunities and chance at life for the sake of everyone. Children are so innocent and vulnerable that we need to do all we can to keep them protected and well cared for.
I had watched a video on riding across country on horseback a few years back and ever since then I have wanted to challenge myself to camping out and riding for a few days to see what it was like. As well as see how I would handle the situations as you never know what will come up on a long ride with such unpredictable animals. Wild horses have always fascinated me with their beauty and elegance as well as their determination and heart. It will be a privilege to experience the wild horses as well as learn about the people of Mongolia and experience how they handle and deal with these beautiful creatures."
