I am honored to have been selected to participate in such a noble cause, but my mission will be incomplete without the generous and loving support from all of you. Together, we can make a meaningful change to the lives of many in Mongolia, together we can place smiles on the faces on many children and their mothers, as we would wish for others to place on our own children.
I kindly ask you to help me raise adequate financing so that these children could spend their cherished childhood playing with toys in classrooms and not with frozen trash on the streets, to gather together in warmth for a cuddle, and not huddle together out of desperation resulting from the unforgiving cold. I kindly ask you to extend your support to help these children, as we would want others to view our children who are suffering on the streets of Palestine. This is a humanitarian cause, and we must exert all efforts to ensure that no child would grow up missing the basic necessities of food & shelter.

Another Step in My Journey
If you've been following my journey, then you know that I am all about adventure, exploration, seeking of truth & contributing positively to my community and surrounding. After careful travel & self reflection, I have adopted 3 pillars that define who I am and the direction I wish to follow in the years I am blessed with on this earth: Fitness, Music & Equestrianism. For the purpose of this project, I will focus on Equestrianism. I took up riding in March 2013, in an attempt to get closer to Earth, Animals & because I was told that the bond between a horse and it's rider is something both magnificent and sacred. I am an avid competitor in Showjumping & Dressage (amateur club level), I volunteer my services to other equine related initiatives that promote the Arabian Horse; the pride of the Arab world - a breed that resembles elegance, loyalty and endurance. I also ensure to embark, annually, on an equestrian adventure in a new country and on a terrain that I typically do not ride in (examples of great adventures I undertook: Crete in the summer, Brasov in the winter, Azores Islands in the summer, UAE in the winter).

With that in mind, and in addition to my ongoing efforts to raise awareness of the fact that all children be they in Palestine or overseas should have the right to live with dignity and respect, to live in a nuclear family and seek an education, to contribute to society, to laugh, to play, to love and to grow; I have chosen to participate in the Gobi Gallop, the longest annual charity Horse Trek adventure that would see us ride over 700 kms across Mongolia. I am excited to be the first Palestinian to have attempted this adventure! The purpose of the ride, while challenging me physically and emotionally, would serve as a medium to raise funds to the Veloo Foundation's Children of The Peak Project - a project designed to help alleviate the suffering and neglect of the most vulnerable and marginalized children in an Ulaanbaatar neighbourhood, whose residents make a living/ feed & clothe their families with items scavenged from the rubbish dump. An adventure with a humanitarian cause, to raise funds to help build infrastructure, fund education, clothe and feed children, who would otherwise spend hours scavenging for food (in temperatures that are often reach negative 40/50 Celsius).

My fundraising goal is $3,500.00 USD through donations and fundraising events.
