In May, 2026 Misti will set off on an expedition of unparalleled distance and importance. She will be riding 4,000 kilometers across the breadth and width of Mongolia and all of it to help disadvantaged Mongolian children who are being helped by Veloo Foundation's Children of the Peak Sanctuary Project.
Mongolian Adventure!
Hi there! I’m Misti Berry. I grew up in western South Dakota where the nearest town was 45 minutes away. In 2017, I had the opportunity to represent my hometown church on a mission trip to Mongolia. While visiting for a month, I grew a great respect for the cultures there and became aware of some of the needs this country has. While in Mongolia, I was a part of building both an orphanage and a drug rehabilitation center. Since returning to South Dakota, I have been longing to return to Mongolia, not just to experience it more, but also to continue to lend a helping hand. I am very excited for this opportunity to show my support for the people of Mongolia again.
