A Message from Lea Tainui:“Just do good - the rest will take care of itself”.
These were the profound words of Julie Veloo, Founder and Vice President of the Veloo Foundation, that were shared when I asked her about charity and service. We had many conversations about what she does and why while walking our two pups, Jessie and Buuvei, during COVID times. Since then, it has been my goal to join her in MAKING A DIFFERENCE, one child at a time, for the Children of The Peak in Mongolia, their families and more. I recently returned to Hong Kong after co-hosting the very first KGV School Mongolia Challenge Week Trip with the Veloo Foundation. It was easy to see how she inspires across ages, stages, and all walks of life, and how life-changing and transformative this experience was for all of us who were there. I look forward to participating in The Gobi Gallop 2025 as a place to grow in body, mind, and spirit, and, most importantly, as an empowering journey to bring positive change to the world. |
