My fundraising goal for the Gobi Gallop Challenge is $10,000!
I can't believe it has been TEN YEARS!! Strange to think that 12 years ago I had never ridden a horse and now, here I am, keen to jump back up on horseback and take on another 700 km in 10 days of riding. I have to say, having had the experience is both good...and bad. Good because I know I can do it...I can survive...I can ride this far...BAD...because I KNOW how much it is going to HURT and how TIRED I'm going to be!
BUT
It really is ALL for the kids. Please, if you can, take a moment and contribute what you can. All of it will stay here in Mongolia and help the children and ALL of it will make a huge difference in their lives.
Every $$ will feed, warm and educate a child who otherwise would be cold, hungry and without hope.
Please join "Team Julie" and together let's make a difference for the children and families living in abject poverty and scavenging in the garbage to survive.

These kids...man...these kids. If you could just be here and see what I see. See their joy, their smiles, the look on their face after a great lunch or the serenity as they snuggle down into their sleeping mat. If you knew the difference you will make by donating I know it would be the highlight of your day. It is all about DO GOOD - HELP CHILDREN - KEEP GOING.
