Another Amazing Mongolian Endurance Challenge to Help the Children!
Again and again...
And again, it’s all about the children. I travel to Mongolia for the glorious experience of riding the breathtaking countryside, and experiencing the unqualified hospitality of the Mongolian people. It’s not exactly ‘relaxing’ – 700 km in 10 days is hardly ‘relaxing’. It’s more like exhilarating and intoxicating and cathartic and yet somehow soothing – all at the same time. Horse Trek Mongolia and the Veloo Foundation are truly my family away from home. But the drive to experience this magical adventure over and over, again and again is knowing the benefits these rides are providing for so many disadvantaged children. Gobi Gallop 2025 will be my 3rd Gobi Gallop – my 6th trip in all – including the 3600 km Blue Wolf Totem Expedition in the summer of 2022. To watch the Children of the Peak Sanctuary expand and provide such strong support (education, quality nourishment, caring and safe environment) to so many young people is inspiring. It makes me want to do it again and again...
