In May, 2026 Janelle will set off on an expedition of unparalleled distance and importance. She will be riding 4,000 kilometers across the breadth and width of Mongolia and all of it to help disadvantaged Mongolian children who are being helped by Veloo Foundation's Children of the Peak Sanctuary Project.
Mongolian Adventure!
Hi, my name is Janelle Whyte and I am from Australia. I have always had a longing for adventure and have found that Mongolia fills this longing. I have ridden with Horse Trek Mongolia many times and have loved every minute of every ride, in blizzards, wind and rainstorms and under perfect blue skies and across endless, incredible vastness.
I am beyond excited to once again have the opportunity to ride through the Mongolian wilds with the Blue Wolf Totem Expedition 2026—4,000 km in 120 days across Mongolia. After participating in the 2022 Expedition, I experienced firsthand what the money raised by us did and am so proud to participate again.
The Blue Wolf Totem Charity Ride is not just about me having a grand adventure, it’s also about raising funds for this important humanitarian cause!
The Mongolian people are the kindest on the earth and I feel privileged to be able to repay some of that kindness by raising money to help some of the most disadvantaged and marginalized children in the country, whose families are scavenging on the garbage dump to survive. The Veloo Foundation‘s Children of the Peak Sanctuary project provides them with warmth, food and a beginning to their educational journey at their two kindergartens.
Please consider giving a donation, no matter how small and know that you are giving these little human beings a chance in and be assured that 100% of your donation goes directly to the Children of the Peak Sanctuary.
