Heading out on June 1st - 2027, our intrepid riders and crew will be taking on one of the most epic rides in history as they tackle the wilds of Mongolia to raise money to help some of the neediest children on the planet - the children who scavenge in the garbage to survive! The riders will be taking on the challenge of riding the longest annual charity horseback ride in the world with a goal of 700 kilometers in 10 days of riding!

Introducing The Riders of the 2027 Gobi Gallop

Alisha Franklin - I am taking part in the Gobi Gallop, raising money for the Children of the Peak Sanctuary in Mongolia. This program builds and maintains schools for children and their families that would otherwise have none. The Children of the Peak largely serves a community in Mongolia which is compelled to move from country to capital in order to survive without support or resources. To get by, whole families may have little choice but to scavenge. Children of the Peak reaches these families to help keep the children off the landfill. I’ve seen the landfill and the school's firsthand and have been lucky enough to meet some of the families served by their good work. This is a worthwhile cause with real results.

Megan, Phillippa and JeanetteMegan, Phillipa and Jeanette is taking part in the Gobi Gallop 2026, raising funds for the Veloo Foundation in Mongolia. This program builds schools and supports families who would otherwise have none, helping children stay off the city landfill and into education.
Having seen the schools and met the families firsthand, Megan knows this is a cause with real impact. Every ride and every donation helps give children a brighter future. |
