Heading out on June - 2028, our intrepid riders and crew will be taking on one of the most epic rides in history as they tackle the wilds of Mongolia to raise money to help some of the neediest children on the planet - the children who scavenge in the garbage to survive! The riders will be taking on the challenge of riding the longest annual charity horseback ride in the world with a goal of 700 kilometers in 10 days of riding!

 Introducing The Riders​ of the 2028 Gobi Gallop

She's thrilled to take part in the 2028 Gobi Gallop, an idea sparked by hearing Julie on Warwick Schiller's podcast — she had to pull over just to listen. In the Year of the Horse, she's embarking on a challenge that marks the start of her life's second half: getting fit, stepping out of her comfort zone, and showing her own children the fabulousness that lies behind resilience.
But most of all, she's doing it for the children Julie spoke about — hoping to raise as much as she can so they have the opportunities they need for wonderful lives.

Team NZ to the Gobi 2028: A Mother-Daughter Journey for Hope
Genevieve and Annebelle, a mother-daughter team from New Zealand, are riding 700 km across the Mongolian steppe in the 2028 Gobi Gallop to support the Veloo Foundation.
For Genevieve, it's the fulfilment of a thirty-year dream to test herself in endurance riding, and a chance to show her daughters that real strength comes from stepping outside comfort zones. For Annebelle, 16 in 2028, it's a chance to prove that age and neurodiversity — she is autistic with ADHD — are no barrier to creating change.
Together, they're riding for the children of the Peak Sanctuary, hoping their long days in the saddle help fund the meals, education and care these children deserve.
