In May, 2022 Duncan set off on an expedition of unparalleled distance and importance. He and others rode 3,640 kilometers across the breadth and width of Mongolia and all of it to help disadvantaged Mongolian children who are being helped by Veloo Foundation's Children of the Peak Sanctuary Project. NOW HE'S DOING MORE! |
A Message from Duncan
I'm off on another horsey expedition in February – the Gaucho Derby, a 500km race across Argentinian Patagonia – with Fran McNicol, for our honeymoon.
It seems only right the Veloo Foundation’s Children of the Peak Sanctuary Project is my chosen charity. After all, it was another horsey fundraiser for this charity – the Blue Wolf Totem Expedition – that Fran and I met. And fell in love.
Now, as usual, I’ve left things rather late. But because this charity is the real deal – all the money you donate goes toward getting kids of displaced nomads off city rubbish dumps and fed, nurtured and educated in purpose built and run kindergartens –
I am going to match any donation, large or small, you are kind enough to make.

Mongolian Adventure!
I want your money! As part of the Blue Wolf Totem Expedition, I’ve committed to raising at least USD$4K for the Veloo Foundation’s Children of the Peak Sanctuary Project. This is the real-deal. None of your donation is skimmed off: It all stays in Mongolia to help move the children of displaced nomads off the rubbish dumps and into purpose built and run kindergartens – where they are fed, nurtured and educated. The Veloo Foundation also helps the children’s families with staples, vocational training and employment. For example, training and employing women who had previously scavenged the Ulaanchuluut landfill as seamstresses. Your donation, large or small, helps me help the Veloo Foundation. |
100% of all received funds will stay in Mongolia and help locals!
