I strongly believe that education is a vital liberator, that can open up options for people to choose their own future and break free from poverty. In Australia I work in n education and have set up a not for profit organisation to fill a gap in cultural education in my area. I am really excited to raise money for the Children of the Peak Sanctuary in Mongolia by riding 700km over 10 days.

I have been an adventurer since I was old enough to get on a plane! More than 30 years ago I loved exploring in nearby Xinjiang and Inner Mongolia in China, so I can't wait to go further north to Mongolia! The Gobi Gallop is an amazing adventure that I am really excited to join. It brings together my love of horse riding, exploring new places, supporting an excellent cause and learning about a new culture and language!! Seeing these children safe and warm at the Children of the Peak Sanctuary and NOT out in the cold scavenging to survive is what motivates me to keep on.
