Welcome to my fundraising page! Those of you know me, know there’s nothing more I love than serving others, and riding horses. Those of you who really know me, know I’ve had a mission to serve in every place/culture I have the opportunity to ride in. Previously, I’ve served as a Pediatric ICU nurse in Sierra Leone before safari rides throughout Africa , served in community projects on a ranch in Namibia, and served a local family to help build a business while galloping through deserts in Egypt. I have always had an interest in Mongolia and their horse culture, but struggled to find a service opportunity until I came across the Gobi Gallop!
While not direct service, this ride raises money for children in the country, a population near and dear to my heart as a pediatric critical care nurse by trade. My goal is to raise as much funding as I can to provide children around the world, across continents and cultures, to grow and thrive into the next generation (and maybe inspire a love and appreciation for horses with that too!). I have been so blessed for my upbringing with horses and all the work I’ve gotten to do with them to qualify for this ride with the special Mongolian Breed horses for this trek. So, if you feel inclined, please feel free in helping me bless children around the world by using our own blessings for good! No help is too big or small :)
