Cecilia is committed to be participating the charity motorbike ride from Malaysia to Mongolia, the Operation Endure in April, 2024. She will purchase the motorcycle from Malaysia and drive it overland through Malaysia, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, and Mongolia. On arrival she will donate it to Veloo Foundation for use it in our new annual charity motorcycle adventure, the Steel Horse Gallop.
After competing the Operation Endure, she will undertake the longest annual charity endurance ride on the planet again. She will be riding an average of 70 km / day for 10 days on just two horses in order to raise money to help disadvantaged Mongolian children who are being helped by Veloo Foundation's Children of the Peak Sanctuary Project.

Another Mongolian Charity Adventure!
Hello. I’m Cecilia Stone (Cele) from Australia.
When I saw Op Endure I knew it was for me and signed up instantly. It covers part of a trip I had planned 25 years ago and here it is finally eventuating! Then I realized I'll be in Mongolia just days before The Gobi Gallop starts and how can I not stay, and play for another horse riding challenge.
So that was the decision making, but the real crux of the matter, regardless of adventures, is that there are children in Mongolia who's lives will be completely changed by every cent I can fundraise. They will have food, clothing and education. Many of the parents of these children, have to get by on the meagre amount they can get by scavenging from the dump for things they can use or to sell. I don’t think life gets harder than being in that situation and raising children.
I feel the ripple effect of knowing your children are safe, warm, fed AND getting an education is huge and gives such hope and relief for their parents and the community they live in. For the children there are lifelong friendships made in learning, warmth and laughter as well as the gift of knowing that you are important enough for complete strangers to want to make your life better. I find so much inspiration when I see what the Veloo Foundation has achieved and use it as a constant reminder that we all, as individuals, can change our world by caring and giving.
Please have a look for yourself at the extraordinary achievements of the Veloo Foundation and help me bust that $4000 target! 100% of your donation goes directly to help the kids. None of it is filtered away and every cent you give will help. Thank you!
