Gobi Galloper 2022
Helping make a difference...one child at a time
Why this is important to me:
For the past 9 years education has been something I believe is the best tool to providing equal opportunity in life. Every country I’ve gone to I’ve tried to teach, sponsor children’s education but wanting to push a bit further and raise money for the Children of the Peak Sanctuary in Mongolia by riding 700km over 10 days.

The Cause:
I am taking part in the Gobi Gallop, raising money for the Children of the Peak Sanctuary in Mongolia. This program builds and maintains schools for children and their families that would otherwise have none. The Children of the Peak largely serves a community in Mongolia which is compelled to move from country to capital in order to survive without support or resources. To get by, whole families may have little choice but to scavenge. Children of the Peak reaches these families to help keep the children off the landfill. I’ve seen the landfill and the schools first hand and have been lucky enough to meet some of the families served by their good work. This is a worthwhile cause with real results. You can read more about the program by clicking the links below.

A Message from Brandon:
Those who know me know I’ve always been travelling or at least dreaming of travelling. The last few years have enabled me to start making these dreams a reality and with the last couple years having a stronger focus towards community focused travel supporting local groups. This year I’ve been lucky enough to be accepted to ride the Gobi Gallop for 2022 to raise awareness and money for the Children of the Peak Sanctuary.
We will ride 700 km (435 miles) in ten days – I’m very much expecting this to be hard. Give me a hand in making a difference and donate as much as you can through the link on this page. For those who want to make it fun or challenge me further, I’ll commit to riding some days in a Mongolia saddle, the whole ride, if we get hit my goal. In fact, I’ll accept all reasonable challenges if that is what it takes to get you to help.
This is a team effort, including you, so please donate today. Any amount is appreciated. |
