Andrew Miller's Movember Madness
A Resounding Success!
Serious and heartfelt thanks to all of you who donated and, of course, to Andrew Miller himself - the man who put his face AND his head on the line for the children and who is, as a result, our newest "bald and beardless" Movember success story! I am thrilled to report that Andrew Miller has enough "friends" who wanted to see him "bald and beardless" badly enough that we smashed through his $5000.00 requirement to shave his head along with his beard and together ....
you raised $10,120 USD for the kids!!
Here's how the story unfolded...
First of all...let's take a moment to look back and see our happy smiling cherub... before . Here are Andrew and Julie at the Veloo Foundation Gobi Gallop Gala a couple of years ago - dedicated supporters of Veloo Foundation, great friends, intrepid international travellers, excellent auction attendees and all round great people! Aren't they gorgeous!? I see that their dedication to the children is growing by leaps and bounds...that year they were putting their wallet on the chopping block to help the children up at the dump...this year though - it got WAY more personal!

And while he looks a little afraid in these last couple of shots - he looks like he was very much used to it a week later when he and his gorgeous partner in caring headed off on a trip!

A huge HUGE Thank You to Andrew! Thank you for spreading the word about our work and getting SO many of your friends and coworders involved to help the kids. Julie and the whole team of wonderful friends who have so generously given to help the children - you guys totally rock! You have all made it possible for us to help so many more children in so many ways - thanks to you all, 132 children will be fed, educated and WARM up at the Children of the Peak Sanctuary Kindergarten this winter!
